Hello, I'm receiving various quirks on my installation. I don't see anyone else bringing these up, so I think it could be a module compatibility issue.

1) When I edit the slideshow, my image: and image directory: scripts disappears, leaving two blank boxes.

2) The image: and image directory: boxes are a single line without the bottom adjustment to make them larger, which makes it difficult to type in. I have to type the script in notepad and then copy/paste.

3) The blend option isn't working in any of the standard browsers (IE, FF)

I am using the latest version, and also several modules (which I think might be the culprit). I've tried reinstalling the slideshow module, and even installed a version from a highly modded test site (which works on that site).

cck, advertisements, tinyMCE, video, and views

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did some playing around and I think I found what's going on. It seems the TinyMCE module is interfering with the module, or at least my installation of it. All 3 of the above concerns were cured when I uninstalled the TinyMCE module. I was able to find a happy medium by reinstalling the TinyMCE, but had its profile exclude the node that the slideshow was on.

I am wondering if anyone else has had problems with TinyMCE and Slideshow compatibility.

thanks for reporting!
i used both modules a couple months ago with no problem. but i prefer "bue editor". (Maybe) TinyMCE stated to use a more recent version of jQuery, which breaks the SsC (jQuery is changing the API very oftem!).

another possible problem/solution is to set higher priority to SsC filter (if TinyMCE uses filters, i dont remember).
you probably dont need to delete the node, since SsC dont link any kind of content to this node.

I have the same problem of fading not working. I tested with Firefox 2.0.0.5 and IE 7.0. I don't have TinyMCE, but I did have FCKeditor installed. I de-installed it, but there was no change. I changed the filter priority so that SsC was at the top of the list, but I still have no fade.

I have a slide show hard coded into the front page (imagequote.js from codelifters.com), and it works fine with IE. I promoted a page with a SsC show to the front page, and the hard coded slide show continues to fade while the SsC one doesn't if you use IE. Neither one fades using Firefox, but that is a known problem with the imagequote slideshow. You can see it at http://chtest.dreamhosters.com (I'll leave it up for a few days.)

Subscribing. Exact same issue as bdornbush using 5.x-1.x-dev

Funny thing is the fade effect seemed to work for a few minutes after installing the module.
I tried different settings but no luck, disabling cache everywhere... but it just works as a standard slideshow without the fade effects.
