please add option for admin to write and send private message to all site users,
and for users to send private mesaage to all his/her buddies.

Maybe better option will be not for admin only, but by user access - "send private messages to all"
or let admin to set name of user from who this message is (as it is now when admin create node - he/she can write author of the node)

No new features will be added to old branches, I'm working on this for the 6.x-2.x-dev branch, see #555016: Planning for sending messages to roles.. Therefore setting this issue to won't fix.
