Integration with helpdesk software
Christoph C. Cemper - July 16, 2007 - 22:25
I'm looking to purchase either
Kayako
ActiveCampaing SupportTrio
CerberusWeb Helpdesk
as a supplement to an Drupal site,
and to provide real support helpdesk functioniality for users
(not sth profane like the drupal issue thing)
Anyone got experiences with integration of any of the above?
I found that Kayako offers something like "LoginShare Plugins"
e.g. at http://forums.kayako.com/showthread.php?t=11176
Costs for the helpdesk product are not an issue - it's stability and usabilty that the client needs
thanks
christoph

Re: Integration with helpdesk software
Hey, you can try creating a module in drupal that can integrate the helpdesk software. As such Drupal has its own helpdesk module but you can create one to integrate these.
I think you should take a shot at PathworksSoftware (helpdesk.pathworkssoftware.com). It’s a helpdesk that has neat features. It’s free to download and has Configurable Branding to change the look of the self service portal to blend in with a customer’s overall web site. Let me know if it works for you.
