olofbokedal commentedNot quite sure what you mean.
There should be an option that says "Content type default", which means that the node will use the setting that has been set for the content type.
forward-media commentedIf I create a new content type, I choose "Page redirect" in the settings. If I create a new content of this type that should be automatically selected. But this is not the case. It's always "display content". And with any new content I have always to select the "Page redirect" option.
You understand now?
Thanks for help :)

olofbokedal commentedYou don't have an option that says "Content type default"? Please provide a screenshot if possible.
Which version are you using?
forward-media commentedNo, i can not say "Page Redirect" is content type default.
here is a screenshot.
olofbokedal commentedIf I'm following you correctly, you have a problem with the node form? But isn't that a screenshot of the content type form?
forward-media commentedI want an other default type,
in the screenshot you see that i marked "Page redirect" and say . Now, when i create new content, this selection is ignored, so why do i say in the content type form "page redirect" when this option is never used? Every time i create new content, i always have to select "page redirect" manually, ...
olofbokedal commentedIf you want to use the "Page redirect" that you have set in the content type settings, then you should select "Content type default" in the node form (which is selected by default). That option will make sure that the node always uses the setting that has been set for the content type.
