I would like to be able to create a node referrer field on a node referenced in a field collection which is a field on a node.

I.e. Node -> Field Collection -> Node

I will be having a look at how to do it on Monday, but if anyone can give me any ideas before then that would be great.

Suppose idea is good, but make sure you work with Node -> Field Collection -> Node Reference
because now there's a Node -> Field Collection -> Node from Entity Reference
