+1. My company has started using shoutbox extensively, and at first blush, we are loving it. We are very interested in enhancing and extending this project.

Would the maintainer or any users of this module know of anyone that we could hire part time or full time to achieve this? Please contact me if you have any leads!

me too but now looking at drupalchat module which uses node.js

I now use heartbeat with his own shoutbox. So I need no longer this module.
