[bean_all] Endless recursion in combination with views

Sorry - this happens when you enable Bean UI? It looks like you are using WAMP. Is this happening in any other environments?

I just had this on LAMP usign rc5.
Enabled all three modules (not UUID)

same with -dev version.
Rolling back to rc4 fixes the problem.

Though I'm not sure if the error is the same. Can't get any error logging back, even drush says "segmentation fault" when I use a drush command (never had that one before! ;)

Just got this error on a Mac. Not running WAMP or anything like that, just the built-in Apache, MySQL, etc.

Before I finally deleted the Bean directory altogether, I was setting larger & larger memory sizes in php.ini. Nothing else helped.

I'm having a similar issue running beans on an octopus stack. Beans_all causing a segfault. Narrowing down during debug: The return value from $plugin is causing it, no idea why.

Yes, same problem here. When Bean All 7.x-1.0-rc5 enabled, I get a seg fault.

Since this happening on multiple platforms i change the status back to active or do you need more info?

[update] it happens when enabling bean_admin_ui & bean [/update] Reverting to bean rc4 fixes it...

I get a 500 Internal Server Error when enabling bean_all module.

So looks like bean_all is a little fubar right now.

Could you please let me know what modules you have installed?

The module appears to be hitting all types of execution limits, which is why people are seeing different error messages.

This also explains why it may be able to 'get by' on a clean install but will fail on a site that's already loading a good deal of other modules.

Ok. This is strange! On a clean install it works well. I even enabled all modules from another project which wasn't compatible with beans and it worked well too. I also devel generate content without any problems. But i have 2 sites where i can't install RC5

What could be tested:
1.) We generate content and blocks first than enable beans
2.) We could post our module lists and check if we have some similar modules (i just installed all modules but without any configuration)
3.) Get a better idea of the exact error

I can find this fancy error in my logfiles :

Ok i could recreate this on a different machine. One is nginx / php-fpm based the other just apache and mod_php. Both are running php 5.3

To reproduce:

* enable bean_all and views
* create a view with a block display
* flush caches

To recover the site:

mysql> update system set status=0 where name = 'bean_all';
mysql> truncate cache_bootstrap;

Update: it can be reproduced by creating any view, not neccesarily with a block display.

I tried the patch and I no longer get the recursive loop.
I have a fairly complicated site (with both custom and contrib modules).

I've tested #17 against commit 6c49e1d (recent 7.x-1.x checkout). The patch works for me. It didn't apply completely cleanly, there was some fuzz offset, but I suspect that is because I'm on 7.x-1.x not the bean_all fixes branch.

There are some changes that should probably be documented. Like bean_all_blacklist_* variables and the config page at 'admin/config/system/bean-all'
