You may want to collaborate on that rather than replicating it.

sreynen you are right, seems like I have to improve my searching skills.
I took a look at http://drupal.org/project/profile2_privacy and seems much more complex and with totally different approach, and better it seems.
But this is enough for the project I'm working on right now but will reconsider once I need something like this again.
