I was setting up my page, and all of a sudden I noticed the navigation block was gone, I've tried everything I can think of, how do I get it back?

is the navigation menu still available in administer -> menus?
yes I can list links, edit

is the block still available in administer -> blocks?
if so, check the configuration and ensure visibility isn't set in an odd way.
for me it is
for me it is administrator=>modules=>block=>configure=>navigation=>configure visitability is all pages except those listed, and none are listed, everything is selected under content types, everything is selected for roles, and under users it says not customizable

which theme is in use and which region is the block in?
have you tried changing regions?

test on a core theme, does the issue occur? if not, then it's a theme issue. if so then it's something deeper.
