Description

I feel confirmation messges are little too much and tends to turn off power users (like Are you sure you want to add, etc.). How do I turn off such confirmation messges.

so you would want this to be a settable behavior that applies to all users (in buddylist settings) or some permission (role) based thing such that users in certain roles can bypass the confirmation forms?

Either way its a decent amount of work to make this change but might be doable.

I feel the very same thing annoying to have to confirm everything, it's easier to just remove if you did anything wrong.

How is this going? Will it be implemented?

I don't have time to work on it right now so if anyone wants to submit a patch that would speed things up. I can see this being a role based option where some users are forced to confirm but power users are not and/or a settings based option that applies to all users. I'd like to see some discussion here on how to implement this feature.

making it role-based sounds better as it would give more flexibility to site admins, yet be capable of applying it to all users.

I vote for this too!

Clicking on "add as buddy" should not really show the yes/no confirmation (Are you sure you want to add ...? Yes/No). That's just adding an extra step.

So can anyone show me where to handle this? Or a patch?

Thanks.
