For some reason, some (and only some) of the events showing in the "upcoming events" block of the Events module are showing up with a date that is one day later. For example, I put in an event that is scheduled for August 4, 2007, from 8-11 pm. It shows up as being on August 5th in the block. But, if you click on the event in the block, it comes up with the completely correct information. You can see the problem here. Configurable time zones for the site are disabled. Timezone handling for the events module uses the sitewide timezone for everything. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for clues and assistance,

I'm having a similar problem with mine too. My dates for events (using event.module) are all correct, only my problem is the calendar block is highlighting yesterday as being today. Timezone is the right on in the site configuration setup (and picking up the correct date & time), customisable timezones have all been turned off and the event.module is supposed to be using the site-wide timezone. I am completely stumped on this one.

I updated the event module to the latest version and the problem went away. Don't know if that would help you, but would be worth checking.
