I find quickstart a very convenient toolbox so I was happy to see that a new version was coming.
If some help is needed for example in testing new version please let me know I would be happy to help.

The project page now has a link for 2.0 beta 1

Testing your own use-case and reporting any issues would probably be of help...

The beta1 link is old, and I'm not sure of the status of version 2, except that it won't be Ubuntu 12.04LTS (Unity) -- which is partly why I created the DrupalPro project. Testing and help there is much appreciated. I'm closing since 2.x branch is dead. (its moving forward at DrupalPro Development Desktop)
