what usability issues are you referring to? this is a very basic site that has heavy styling and not a lot of client interaction to be sure. that was the plan though. he wanted graphics over operability in order to sell his "image". i know some things have an html-based solution as opposed to a module-based solution, but the artist/album stuff is still CCK based. just need to know what you mean in more detail.
