While reviewing the kernel branch I noticed there were several "use" statements for classes that weren't actually used in that file. I'm assuming they were left in after refactors.

I've test the patch against the kernel-remerge branch and my app seems to work correctly after that.

Merged. Although a direct link to the commit doesn't help me in being able to merge it. I had to go track down the actual URL to the repo and then cherry-pick. :-(
