Hello, I am porting this module to Drupal 7. You can find my sandbox project here. Any updates from me will be informed in this issue.

For an upgrade from a D6 site to a D7 site you need to upgrade views 2.x to views 3.x

If you port the Rotor Banner to D7 you should port the D6 version to working with view 3.x first I presume?
Or will your version only work on a fresh D7 install without an upgrade from D6 possibility?

I'm hoping you will solve the D6 version working with views 3.x first.
I would love to work with views 3.x but loosing the Rotor Banner module stops me at the moment.

Does anyone have an install guide/steps to add the Rotor Banner module to a fresh D7 install?

Thanks in advance - I have a project that I may have to downgrade to D6 if I can't get this module working in 7.

@Niek_Kloots It will take someone else to step up and do it. I have no use for this module in Drupal 7 or beyond, and will not be maintaining it save for security updates. If someone wants to become co-maintainer, please let me know and I'll grant you the access ou need.

@vitalblue feel free to port this project to Drupal 7. There are other alternatives of rotor banner in Drupal 7.

@Niek_Kloots I am not working in this module port. As I said in #7 there are alternatives for this module. You can easily create a slideshow using a content type and views.
