DiggThis

Project:Digg this
Version:5.x-1.3
Component:Code
Category:support request
Priority:normal

Status:closed
Description

DiggThis never displays unless you click on the title to proceed to the full page. DiggThis needs to be displayed on teasers, full pages, or short postings. If a short posting doesn't exceed the limit for teases, then the surfer will never see the DiggThis unless they click on the title for the whole page

I agree and I say keep it the way it is now but also put in the readme or something the snippit to print this in your node.tpl.php so those of us who do want that exact control can do it.

Load times are too long when the button is displayed in teaser lists.

Can someone point me to the phptemple or contemplate snippet for adding DiggThis to the node teasers. I'd like to see just how much the addition of a 'digg this' button slows the loading of the /node page. Thanks, Peter

I would also like to know how this can be done. Thanks.

It currently can't be done. I am thinking about making diggthis a CCK field, but for Drupal 6 or higher. But the problem with the long load times for more than one Digg button on a page will remain.

I would love to get the code for placing the diggthis button on node teasers. Could someone send that to me? Thanks!
