Can the Inline filters be stacked?

Can the Inline filters be stacked?

For example [amazon 0596515804 largeimage]. If I want to add a url I have to wrap <a> tags around it. Same thing with the largeimageheight, largeimagewidth. What is the purpose of those actions? Only to return the values on the page? I would like to control the size of the image without modifying it in css.
