I am currently trying to post mail from mailhandler to a forum and I can do this successfully using:
type: mail
tid: 33
promote: 0
format: 3
in the default command section.
However, this is not showing up on the front page and I am suspecting this is because the audience is not set. How do I set this as a default command? I've tried gid: 60 and og_groups: 60 and neither set the audience correctly. Has anyone gotten this to work or have another idea?

This doesn't sound like an og_fourm specific issue. Perhaps you should post this over at og, or mailhandler instead.

Whichever you do, I will shortly be changing the way this module handles the audience selection so that at validation/submission, the audience will be auto-selected and saved based on the forum choice. See other issues here for more info on upcoming features that will be added before an official 2.0 release.
