I just moved my Drupal 5.1 install to a new server on my hosted platform. They just migrated my account. It is an upgrade to MySql 5.0 and a higher version of PHP.

However, when I look in status report in admin, it has the MySQL and PHP version from the old server -- and the site files and database still exist there. It seems to me that Drupal is still looking at the old server, even though the domain has been migrated.

Is there something I need to configure to point to the new server? I simply can't figure this out.

Your description is a bit vage, can`t you give a domain? You should check the IP addresses and DNS with this tool online http://www.nwtools.com/

Can you explain what happened? You moved to another webspace on the same server or another server? Best would be to ask the host why you still see the MySQL and PHP version from the old server. At least that got nothing to do with Drupal.

Either you are still on the old one or you are just in the process of moving. Did you change the hosting company too?

It's solved. Thanks for the help. When I checked the site with your tools it was still pointing to the old server. Thus, I really was running the older versions of PHP and MySQL.

Apparently, the migration wasn't handled properly. (I was moved to an entirely different server by my host.) They fixed it and now all is running well with PHP 5.2 and MySQL 5.0.

Glad I figured this out today and not over the weekend when the old server files were taken down.
