When creating a file style that is using an image style like "vod_mobile", and then a view field is using that file style, then the image doesn't become responsive. It seems like resp_img doesn't work unless the view field is using a responsive image style directly?

How and where did you create the 'file style'?

I created a file style in Configuration - > Media - > File styles and used the image style vod_mobile as the image style for that file style. Then in the view I selected the file style as the display style for a file field using the Media field selector widget. That field contains a vod from YouTube, Vimeo etc and this file style creates a thumbnail. But only the vod_mobile image is ever displayed. No other image sizes seem to be created from the other image styles (vod_narrow, vod_normal and vod_wide) and only vod_mobile displays regardless of browser size.

I tried to reproduce the bug, but couldn't. When I resize my window the image resizes as it should.

Can you provide me with exact steps how to reproduce, or export your view and make a feature of you content type so I can try to reproduce it again.

Are you using the latest dev version?
