$Revision: 1.90.4.23 $ $Date: 2007/05/06 01:41:35 $

TinyMCE adds what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) html editing to textareas. This editor can be enabled/disabled without reloading the page by clicking a link below each textarea.

Profiles can be defined based on user roles. A TinyMCE profile can define which pages receive this TinyMCE capability, what buttons or themes are enabled for the editor, how the editor is displayed, and a few other editor functions.

Lastly, only users with the access tinymce permission will be able to use TinyMCE.

but I cant seem to see it or find it on any of my edit or create new content pages..

i have been using this Drupal CMS for less than 2 days.

im stumped

thanks in advance...

  • The theme you are using can cause problems. I know Garland will work with it.
  • Fantastico can induce problems (see the several posts along the lines of dump Fantastico and re-install.
  • Have you installed the tinymce application inside the tinymce module (it is a two-part install). The most recent version of tinymce is around 2.xxx.
  • The current version of TinyMCE does work with Safari 2 mostly, I suspect Safari 3 is non-functional currently - Firefox is best
  • Oh yeah, more descriptive titling of your forum posts will help in getting responses. I thought you were asking something entirely different until I finished reading your full posting.
