My Bookmarks

drupalina - July 22, 2007 - 05:37

What I'm looking for is a module that would allow the following:

1) Below each node (of course those content-types chosen by Admin) there will be a link "Add to my bookmarks"

2) Among user's navigation links there will be "My Bookmarks" link (and maybe a dedicated block as well). In "My Bookmarks" area the user will see a table of those bookmarks sortable according to the date he/she added those nodes by default (but also sortable according to content-types, taxonomies, last updated).

I tried subscriptions module, and tracker, but they don't exactly do this. Has anybody seen a module that could help me have "My Bookmarks" for each end-user???

(it would also be nice to have something like that on drupal.org)

There's also bookmarks2, views bookmarks, and favorite nodes. Does anyone know of any others?

I've been using the views bookmarks module recently, and I really like being able to bookmark a post from within the node creation form.

thanks for help!
Isn't "bookmarks" module for 4.7? I also noticed that "Bookmarks2" module is marked as HEAD -- will it work on my 5.1?

There are patches in the issue queues

There are patches in the bookmarks and bookmarks2 issue queues that will make them work with 5.1. I've only tested the patch for bookmarks, but it works.

Try

Try http://drupal.org/project/userlinks. I'm pretty excited with the discovery of that plus the newly updated http://drupal.org/project/blogtheme for my multi-user blogs.
