Surely there is a way to have a list of registered members of a site that is accessible to all users.
If so - how?
Sorry I meant a click able link so users can access it
You can use views to create a list of registered users.
Thanks for your response:
Well the fix I found starts with goto Administer >> Site building >> Views >> Add and I can't find that. It's Site Building I can't find. Please guide me. BTW using Ver7
Have you installed views?
Yes, just did it. Building page now. Thanks for the hint.
All is well EXCEPT the link (to the user page) is only active for admin though it is displayed for all authenticated users. Any way to make it an active link for auth users?
By editing permissions to allow auth users to: View profiles and Administer views
Access the views administration pages and Bypass views access control links are now active for auth users. Is that a problem do you think?
Well I removed auth user permissions for Administer views
Access the views administration pages and Bypass views access control links and it STILL WORKS. I think now that all is OK and secure.
