Ok, strange one here... I'm attempting to upload files to www.minimism.com as attachments. *for certain files* I can't do this! (and believe me I've tried lots of different files!)
Adding the attachment is fine, and the file gets copied into the tmp area of my site (verified with ftp program) but when it comes to submission, I get the following error message:
* The directory . is not writable.
* File copy failed: no directory configured, or it could not be accessed.
The file remains in the temporary area.
I have tried this with smaller files, larger files, all with some success (the file is 1,999,624 bytes big) - this seems almost random behaviour (except that the same file fails always - even changing the name!)
I have successfully uploaded a 3.4MB file, as well as some smaller images...
Any clues?

minimism commentedOh.
I've just discovered something: Both of the files that I was having trouble with had names that began with f!!!
I've just renamed one of the files (leading underscore) and voila! It's ok.
Now that's just plain strange!
