This module seems to be using 'RRP' in a non-standard way, which is going to cause confusion.

My client tells me RRP is 'recommended retail price', which is the cost that the manufacturer suggests they charge. This can be different from what they actually charge their customer.

However, this module is using RRP to mean the base price that the customer is charged before discounts are applies.

Hi,

I agree that this might cause confusion, but before I just dive in and change it (thereby causing confusing for anyone already using it) shall we think about what a better description is?

I believe Base Price is not particularly descriptive or a term in common use. To me RRP is the "normal" price.

Of course this can be changed through settings / translations at any time but a good default makes sense.

Any ideas?

kind regards

Richard

I'll ask my client what term they use for the 'price you sell at to the customer'.

RRP for that is definitely going to cause huge confusion. I don't think changing UI in settings is that much of a fix though, as if the code uses it, developers will use it, and it'll be something that requires constant translation from client-speak to dev-speak.

I would suggest either you use the term 'selling price' or 'asking price'.
