Can somebody help me in adding multiple destinations as in google getdirection.

Getdirections needs a startpoint and an endpoint but you can add points through which the route must pass. Please read the README.txt and getdirections.api.inc for ideas on how to do that.
If you use the latest development version (available tomorrow) you will be able to create a path to a map using latitude,longitude pairs delimited by a '|'.
