I am missing really needed option in private message - to have under (or above) each private message link "block other private messages of this user"
It is neededd for that users what ther are bombed of private messages of some another stupid users.
(e.g. girls bombed by some teenage boys, or anybody who write vulgar, adult or other content, etc)

When someone block private messages of some user, he/she could write reason for himself/herself
Then I will add new tab into private messages - "blocked users" where will be list of blocked users and near each name can be that reason (editable), so user can remember why he/she blocked various other users.

It is on discuss if blocked user could get info about that he/she is blocked and his/her messages never be delivered.
I think no, because then he/she can to create a new account and to bomb by private messages again.
If he/she don't see that receiving user don't get his/her messages, he/she will be probably satisfied by sending his/her message.

One more thing, I am missing link "send alert to admin about this message" which will send to admin this message and (optionally) reason why the user think that admin could be alerted about it.
This link can be under or above each message too.

I thought about merge links "block this user" and "alert admin" but IMHO the better option is to have two links, because there can be (often) situation, when someone block somebody, but he/she don't need to alert admin about the concrete message. He/she is satisfied by blocking some user only.

What is you opinon about this, and about this all feature request?

Look forward to Buddylist2 which can allow Private Message to only between buddies, whereas the buddy must be 2-way (approved/reject)

New features will not be added to that version anymore. however,
Privatemsg already implements some of these features. Please file a
feature request against the latest DRUPAL-6 version if still relevant.

Drupal 5 private message branch is no longer actively maintained (in fact it is actively unmaintained). Please upgrade to drupal 6 which is supported (and will continue to be supported).
