The title is self-explanatory. I can't enable the Media Gallery module because it reports being only compatible with some of the 1.x versions of the Media module. See #1152972.

Yep, thanks for noting this. The 2.x upgrade issue here is #1244204: Make media_gallery work with media-7.x-2.x branch. Meantime we should remove Media gallery from the distro.

Thank you for your quick reply. Do you think it's possible to downgrade the media module to 1.x branch ? or would it break my uploaded medias ? I actually have a strong need for a photo gallery in this site and it seems like Media Gallery is the only gallery module that extends Media.

I've removed media_gallery from Open Outreach and updated the related issues on media gallery.

Re downgrading, no, it's not feasible. If you want to use media gallery, for now you can't use Open Outreach.
