Issue Summary
At present the user has the ability to set a unique password for every bit of content that has the node protected functionality associated with it. This becomes unnessecary if the user only wants to have one password for all their protected content.
I think it would be a good idea to allow a user to set a global password. In this situation, the only field the user needs to fill in when creating new content is the checkbox 'Check here if this content should be protected by a password'.
Ideally each user should be able to set their own individual global password.

Generally I like your idea. I will think about how can it be implemented.

This is done in 6.x. I don't think anyone will ever make it work in 5.x though. Therefore I'm marking this as fixed.
Thank you.
