Please add the option to assign a category to an event with volunteer time slots.

Any node type can have taxonomy categories assigned - you just need to select them within the vocabulary you desire to use.

I'm sorry but I don't understand the response. When I am creating an event with volunteers, there is NO option to assign a category. I can assign categories on regular events, on pages, on stories, etc., but there is NO CATEGORY option when creating an event with volunteers.

I may be misunderstanding your response so perhaps you could clarify?
