Page limit argument for panel view in mini-panels not passed

I have a view panel that has the possibility of being configured from a panel. This view panel is called in a mini-panel and this mini-panel in its turn is called by a panel for nodes of a certain type. I can configure node-id, results per page & the show all link from this mini-panel, but only the node-id is passed properly.

Whatever I fill in gets ignored. When I modify this directly on the view panel itself it works fine, but this would gimp me to not be able to configure this on the mini-panel because I'd have to create too many views.
