The problem seems to be due to our normal login requiring more informational fields than google provides (country, addr, company etc). But this is not handled very elegantly now. If I manually redirect to site.com, I get some lines on the main page saying that login items are missing, then if I manually redirect to site.com/user/register I can enter the missing items and proceed with the login. Subsequent logins work fine.
Any suggestions for a fix?

charlie-s commented@saitanay: It looks like there are some issues in gconnect.pages.inc git_callback():
There is no $html variable declared, and drupal_deliver_html_page() is called but not returned which I think is an error. I think it simply needs to be:
since $url is just a JavaScript string that redirects the user.

Also having this issue. Just recently new accounts get a white screen at /?q=git/auth/handler.
And #3 does not apply since that code is not available in the gconnect.pages.inc file. I see this
Previously created accounts still work fine, this just happened out of no where recently.
