With Memcache installed, menu updates don't work properly unless you manually rebuild menus. For example, when I create a new node with a menu link, the updated menu is only displayed when you're on the page that belongs to the node, all other pages show only the old menu items.

Please re-test with the latest 7.x-1.1-beta3 release (or later). A number of relevant fixes have gone in, and I'm unable to duplicate your bug report.
