It would be nice if administrators could choose which columns (for example, I am using it for a school so all of the addresses are the same, but emails and telephone numbers are different) to display in the directory and the email address could be a "mailto:" link

Any updates on this? I am trying to customize the look of the displayed items from the contact directory module and want to know if there is any info about that here.
