I have a site where I am using the Translation facility for nodes. So I have translated my nodes and displayed the Translations block, this is successfully recognising that I have 4 languages for a particular node. Very happy.

My question is how do I get my menus to respect the existence of these nodes. Do I have to do some configration checks or is there something more clever? My menu (primary navigation) just links to for example

http://dev.***.com/fr/node/2
http://dev.***.com/en/node/2
http://dev.***.com/de/node/2

and displays the english version.

I have Browser language detection disabled.

Have you tried to use i18n_menu.module? Try to enable and use it.

Note: you've already downloaded it. It comes with the i18n modules.
