This individual has been spamming the consulting, support and development groups for several weeks now. Can he/she be blocked?

cweagansWell...maybe. But the only way to block a user is by email address, and the spammer could always just change the address that they're sending from.
Instead, what if we do #1689740: Make mailing lists members only?
