I have caption set to Alt text. In IE8 I'm consistently getting images that are only as wide as the caption text (and no image when there is no caption). In Firefox 12.0, sometimes (intermittently) I get no caption on the first image, and then the rest of the images are displayed in a tiny size with caption. It seems as if there is no room "created" for a caption when the page first loads, and then the following images are shrunk to make space for the captions.

Any idea what might be wrong? Might this issue be related?

This is annoying as caption display works only randomly. Sometimes it looks as if the height of field-slideshow-caption collapsed to zero...

I have set max-width: none on field-slideshow-image, because otherwise images without caption do not show at all.

Sometimes, in IE9, instead of the caption I get an empty space under the image, almost as high as the image itself.

I have also tried 7.x-1.x-dev (May 22) but this behaviour hasn't changed. Using jquery.cycle.all.js 2.9999.5 (April 10).

Anyone else experiencing this?
