Facebook's Open Graph debug tool was firing the following error - "The parser's result for this metadata did not match the input metadata". To fix it, I had to trim() the description being passed in to the og:description tag. This should probably be rolled into the next update.

Do you have a patch of where you inserted the trim() function?
Can you provide an example of a description that had to be trimmed?

Hi,

I'm the new maintainer of opengraph_meta. Sorry for the long silence in the issue queue.

Sadly I don't have the resources to care for the Drupal 6 version. Unless and until someone steps up to maintain it I'm therefore closing all D6 issues as WONTFIX.

Feel free to re-open the issue if it is still valid in one of the Drupal 7 branches.
