The Forest Park Public Library is accepting proposals for the development and design of a new public web site, consistent with the Library’s mission to provide information about and access to library resources and services.

The scope of this project is to re-imagine and redesign the Forest Park Public Library web presence. A contractor that can handle all site planning, interface design and production is required. The Library will create/provide all of the site copy and provide the successful candidate with any necessary original and stock photography and logos.

The site must include a technology solution that allows the in-house staff to easily and cost effectively update content after the initial launch. A preference will be given to the use of open source and free (both as in speech, and as in beer) CMS software.

The Forest Park Public Library has allocated $5000-$7000 for this project.

If this sounds like something you'd be willing to take on--that is, if you can help us drag ourselves out of the early 90's and into Web 2.0--please take a look at our RFP. It's available online at:

Ben,

The fieldtrip portion of your RFP is worth reading all on its own.

Excellent RFP! Must be taken as example for all who needs a paid website-creation service!
