Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to develop a Biblio feature that would be called "My Biblio" -- just like My Groups, My Files, My Subscriptions etc etc. The basic idea is that the users will be able to search or browse through Biblio and if they see something that they like, they just click "Add to My Biblio" icon, or just drag-n-drop into their "My Biblio".
I had an idea for something like this for a while, and now I'm experimenting with Zotero. However, the drawback of Zotero is that it is a Firefox extension, and IE still dominates, especially among academics. The other drawback of Zotero is that it stores the data locally. And last but not least, it is limited in terms of sharing (precisely because it stores locally). So, I thought, what if something like Zotero could be built into Biblio module and be called "My Biblio" (or something like that) -- so that it is all online and therefore both Individual and at the same time Communal.
In My Biblio area, the bibliografic material could be stored, grouped, categorised and managed (using JStools and drag-n-drop) in a similar manner as with Zotero. In terms of individual private notes, Biblio could work with the Annotate module.
Furthermore, because users will be able to bring in material from all around the web, My Biblio would be important way of dinamically adding to communal Biblio and therefore sharing what one found with the rest of community.
Would any of these feature requests be possible?

Here are some additional feature requests that are similar to or follow from above:
So far I am temporarily using "Click2Bookmark" module for my users to "Add to My Biblio" -- out of all othe bookmarking modules (Favourite Nodes, View Bookmarks) that I found Click2Bookmark seems to be the only one that actually works. The drawback of Click2Bookmark module is that it does not allow to sort and manage those bookmarks.
"ADD TO MY BIBLIO" button: I have discovered BibSonomy, SitesUlike and Connotea in recent days (following past conversations from Research&Academic group), and I should say those buttons like "My Bibsonomy" or "Add to my Connotea" that end users can drag-n-drop into their browser toolbars are pretty amazing. Can something like that button be added to Biblio module as "Add to My Biblio" ??? Like that a user can surf around jstor or any library page and if biblio detects a bibliographic data the "Add to my Biblio" button would light up and the user can click it, thus adding to site's biblio for all others to see.
IMPORTING FROM ZOTERO: So far I've been recomending my users to get Firefox and Zotero to make best use of my site. BUT... I have noticed that with Biblio module as it is, it's easier to take rather than share. What if an additional feature could be developed that would allow users to simply drag-n-drop from their Zotero into Biblio page???
LibraryThing buddies I have noticed that on LibraryThing there is a counter that displays the number of people who added that book to their favourites. And if one adds that book to his favourites then it will display an icon that leads to a list of all other users who share have added that book to their favourites. This is simply great because it allows for communities to form not around some generic interests (like Britney Spears and hiking), but around some serious and specific texts which people have read and can discuss more vigorously and in-depth.
Is anything like what I have brought about above being already developed, or are my ideas original???

I believe that LibraryThing buddies request is possible using the flag module. Every user can bookmark a page in drupal, see what he has bookmarked, find out how many people bookmarked a content, and run an action or rule when number of bookmarks reached a threshold.
