Might be good to have these two exclusions in the visibility settings for the default TinyMCE profile:

  • */contact -- since Contact emails are always plain text, recipients see weird HTML tags
  • admin/* -- not strictly necessary, but it takes up a ton of space in some small boxes

Alternatively, this could be included in documentation.

This version of TinyMCE is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
