Display parent terms as form items - feature

Greetings,

I just noticed the "Display parent terms as form items" feature has a bug.

Situation: about 20 Children across 5 Parents

I selected a Parent to insure and test that it would not accept or save the choice - as configured.

Oddly enough, it did not allow the Parent I selected, but rather it saved a Different Parent - of available Parents in that Vocab.

Example: I checked to see if it would save Parent 3 and it saved Parent 1. No Parents should have been saved (as configured) in the setting above.

If you need more details – please advise.
