Hi,
I instelled the "Views Bonus Pack" and found the new "directory" view in the admin section. However, when I access www.example.com/directory, I get nothing but an (a) incomplete and (b) redundant display of my taxonomy. Since I have to guess what this view is supposed to display, I assume, it should be a A-Z list, right? Wahat I get is:
a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (2) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | a (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) | A (1) |
Every character is duplicated 23 times; clicking on the character "A" results in deisplayin every taxonomy term with "A" duplicated 23 times.
I can access "B" by manipulating the URL directly; then I get something like (for example):
Bekleidung (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (1)
Belletristik (2)
Belletristik (2)This is almost complete rubbish, since the taxonomy term conatins - according to the "tree" view - 21 nodes. And yes, that's the sum, if you add alls numbers in parenthesis.
Is this behaviuour intended, or has something to be confugured, or is it simply a bug?
Greetings & regards, asb

merlinofchaos commentedThis could be caused by a bug in Views 1.5 and all the 1.6 betas but should be fixed in 1.6 itself.

asbdpl commentedI'm using Views 5.x-1.6.
I'm guessing that the display of "directory" should look different, indeed? Too bad that there are no screenshots :(

soupy commentedMy fix: under the Arguments, change from "Summary, sorted as view" to "Summary, unsorted" for both Arguments.
Unfortunately, the term index isn't wholly upper or lower case; it's a nasty mix of both. Halfway is a start, right? ;)
Viel Glück!

soupy commentedIt now occurs to me that the capitalisation could be easily fixed with CSS...

sunSorry, this issue is way too specific. Please have a look at the issue queue - Views maintainers are buried already.
