When I got an add a new content type that has the field collection in it, there will be one to start off with. When I click the "Add another item" button, another field collection will appear for me to fill. However, when I click the button again, no more will show up. I save the instance of the content type and then go back to edit. When I go back to edit, a 3rd field collection will be ready to fill out, and clicking the button will add a 4th field collection, but no more after that. It seems that in Firefox 12, I can only add 2 field collections at a time. I don't have this issue in Chrome. Is there a way to get around this without having to go back and edit every single time?

The problem only seems to be in Firefox 12. Firefox 13 doesn't have this problem, nor does Chrome nor IE(7,8,9). However, our client uses Firefox 12 so we need to address this issue quickly.

I hope you figured something out. This issue is old now and I don't think it will be necessary to support Firefox 12, but please reopen if I am wrong. For what it's worth, it sounds like it could be a problem with Field UI overall and not just Field Collections.
