Upgraded from 5.1 to 5.2. I have a couple problems now going on. Over at our site http://bteministries.org, when ever I post a new study it is only available under admin, regardless of what I set it at. Ive tried looking through many changes and cant get it to work. Some complete views I have set up wont display at all unless a person is issued admin rights. Anyone recommend what I should be looking for to correct this?

The problem seems to be with views. We have our pages done using views and taxonmy. We have a list of terms and when we create content we tag them these terms. Then we have views which we use to create pages based on those terms. But since the upgrade the entire content only displays for each page view under admin. When logged out some of the content is not there. If I open up any of the content that does display as anonymous user, click edit, do nothing other than scroll to the bottom and click save, it to will no longer be visible unless logged in as admin. I dont what happened but I cant figure out whats wrong. Everything looks fine. All the permissions are the same as before the upgrade when it all worked.

Hi techmate,

I had a similar issue after upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2. If I remember correctly, I fixed it by clearing the View cache and then running the Devel module's Empty cache function.

Have you tried either of these? Hope this helps.

I think the problem is now solved. Matt from Geeks and God who has been helping me out immensely, found out that the problem was caused by the access control module that was at one time installed but no longer used. It created a bunch of different permissions in my node_access are of the database. Even though the module was since removed the settings remained. He suggested I remove all those, which I did. We had a bunch of other problems we are trying to fix right now so our site is currently offline. Im unable to yet verify this fix, but confident this will resolve it.
