I am sure this is covered somewhere but my search came up empty. I have a very basic installation of Drupal 5 with the "home" page is default . It works fine but my efforts to get an images in each post have been unsuccessful.
Some teasers have the image other omit it. Is there a setting that controls when a image or content length is not shown in the teaser?

I know zero code and must rely on tinymce so if it is not a point and shot solution I am sol.
