First, I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate. I searched the issues and found several relating to top margins and the height of the admin menu div, but none really seemed to be the same issue as this one.

I enabled the (latest) Fusion Starter theme on a fresh Drupal 7.14 installation. The default icon on that theme is positioned at the very top of the browser window, so that's the only reason I noticed this anomaly.

It's best seen by viewing the attached screen shot, though you may have to zoom in to see the details I've circled in red. That image is a composite of three screen captures overlayed side-by-side. The one on the left is Firefox 12. The middle and right ones are both Chrome 19.

First, note that all three images were aligned such that the top of the black background matched up (hopefully that is the absolute top of the viewable area of each browser). The first red circle shows that the black background is one pixel longer in Firefox, which makes it cover one additional pixel of the icon. The second red circle shows that, even in Chrome, there is one more pixel of the icon that is hidden because the margin-top of the body is 29px when it should be 30px. The image on the right shows how it looks when I changed that margin to 30px in Chrome.

So, changing the margin-top to 30px should fix this in Chrome, but Firefox will (probably) still be covering one pixel of the actual top of the themed output of the page. I have not checked other browsers.

I am sorry for no reply until now.

There are many issues regarding this module admin_menu which is a bit difficult for us to follow up since some of the issues might be already outdated, or is already fixed by the module or any other modules or itself core which means that the problem might no longer need to be fixed.

We can see that the issue has been created for a few years ago, I hope it is okay for you that I am postponing the issue, and give you around two weeks. If you still face the problem, could you tell us the step by step when until you get the error message or what is frustrated you, and a list of modules you are using related to admin_menu and a screenshot that might help us? So it makes us easier to reproduce your issue.

However, after two weeks with no feedback - we will close this issue. So in case, you noticed it after the issue is closed, do not hesitate to reopen it like and fill information which is mentioned above.

So before giving us a feedback, do you mind to test it again with our latest 7.x-3.x-dev?

Thank you for understanding! :)
