I was just curious what everyone recommends. I have used eCommerce, but not Ubercart. A few people have told me Ubercart is gaining much momentum. What pros/cons do you have for each. What applications would I choose one over the other, etc.

I haven't used eCommerce (or any other shopping cart software for that matter) but have recently been putting together a site using Drupal and Ubercart. I've been very impressed with Ubercart. This is my first site with both Drupal and Ubercart. For me, figuring out Drupal has been much much harder then learning Ubercart. If you are familiar with Drupal, using Ubercart should be pretty much plug-n-play. The UI is excellent and the developers do a very good job of following Drupal conventions (they even have included hooks so third-party module developers can modify cart operations).
Also support is excellent at the forums at ubercart.org. Ask any question and you should have a response by one of the main developers (or a member of the growing community) within hours.
Ubercart doesn't support every feature, yet -- but seeing the rate of development, if it doesn't already meet your needs it will soon.
