Ahh, good late evening,
A new user cannot create an account on my site because my username and email fields are missing! I've switched themes and it doesn't matter any. Where should i start looking? thanks in advance! -bp

what browser are you using and what do you mean by "missing"? Once, the display on my website vanished and the solution was deleting cookies and deleting tempo files on my browser. It was really intermittent. Try that and see if it would work.

what i mean when i say the fields are "missing" is that they do not appear anywhere on the form or any where else. They simply do not exist on the page. I tried clearing the cookies and cache, but they still don't appear. I've tested in FF2 and IE6- both same results.
password fields missing
I'm having something similar. My 6.14 site was working fine with users able to create their accounts with no problem. I had the Profiles module enabled. Then I used it to add two single line text fields: First Name and Last Name with category Personal Information. Then the create new account page had input fields for user name, email address but the password and verify password fields had disappeared. So someone can create an account but cannot set a password and thus cannot log in. The login screen still asks for password. I removed the new fields I had added but the password fields still do not show up on create account. Very puzzling. Also discouraging that no one has responded to the original problem listed above since July 07, so I guess I shouldn't hold my breath for an answer to this, but if you have any ideas I'd appreciate some help.
