i installed uie forum module in my site and after that i went to access control and granted permission to authenticated user to administer,access and post a topic.
But the problem is when i log in in my navigation menu its shows uie forum link upon clicking which it shows various tabs labled configure,edit the forum where as authenticated user should not be shown all this except for post a new thread

That would be because you gave them "administer" permissions, which gives them the admin privileges to do exactly what you just said. All you want for your regular users is "access" and "post topics".
